Introducing: Dezertfyre's Blue Ice "Lucy" and Dezertfyre's Wild Blue Yonder "Maverick" Lucy will be Mike's new prospect and Maverick is co-owned by daughter Kristina and her next show prospect. Maverick loves his new family, in true Top Gun fashion, he has 3 girls doting on him!

On January 3 we said goodbye to our very first Vizsla Ch Szep Tar's Brush Fire. Tag started us on our crazy wild love affair with the Vizsla and we will forever be grateful to her and to Matt and Trisha Ginther for entrusting us newbies with such an incredible dog. We look forward to the day we meet her dancing on her front feet, in a full body wiggle at heaven's door.

Riker and Owner Handler Carla Slabaugh were part of 61 Vizslas competing in Florida at the National Championship. Vizslas were a record breaking entry for the breed and the second largest entry this year. Best of Breed Winners competing in the groups will be televised on ABC February 4, 2012

Riker also earned his International Championship with four Group Placements, including a Group 1! Riker also earned his Junior Hunter Title.
Dezertfyre's Blue Ice, "Lucy" was Reserve Winners Bitch and Best Bred By at Whidbey Island Kennel Club and went on to win the Bred By Sporting
